On Day 63, Rick and the others arrive at the CDC, where they meet Dr. On Day 62, the group buries the eliminated members and Rick tries to contact Morgan to no avail. The survivor camp is later attacked and suffers casualties. Rick befriends a gang of survivors and receives some ammunition. On Day 61, Rick, Glenn, T-Dog, and Merle's younger brother, Daryl, head back into the city to find weapons and save Merle but find him gone with his hand cut off. Rick heads to a survivor camp with the rest and is reunited with his wife Lori, Carl, and Shane. Before he can take his own life, he's rescued by Glenn Rhee, who takes Rick to meet other survivors, Andrea, T-Dog, Jacqui, Morales, and Merle.Īfter a violent encounter with Merle, he's left handcuffed to the roof while the others escape. Later that day, Rick is overwhelmed by a swarm of zombies and takes shelter inside a tank but realizes he has no way out. Rick bids farewell to Morgan and heads into the city on horseback. On Day 60, Rick, Morgan, and the latter's son, Duane, head to Rick's house to find his family. Morgan tells Rick about the zombie apocalypse and the nature of the zombies. He discovers the world to be in an apocalyptic state and encounters Morgan Jones.

But how does it work within the Fear the Walking Dead timeline? In that respect, it seems to work, too, if you consider that the entire first three seasons of the series takes place within two months, from the outbreak until the damn explosion at the end of season 3.On Day 59, Rick awakens from his coma at the hospital. There’s no way that only a year and eight months has passed in the eight years since we began watching The Walking Dead, right? Twenty months? That’s it? How is it possible that so much has happened in only 90 weeks?īut putting aside the aging of the actors - Carl, in particular, who should have only been 13 on the series when he died - the rest of the timeline unbelievably seems to work, even taking into account the six-month time jump between seasons two and three.
